Description

Now a  days electric power and fuel are the most used energy sources but they are not eco-friendly and these also need manpower .so we have thought of doing a project on the grass-cutting vehicle which uses Eco-friendly resources like solar energy and also to decrease the human interaction. This project aims of designing an Automated Grass Cutter using solar energy[1]. This system includes a 12V battery to power the vehicle moment motors and the grass cutter motor and it reduces the manpower and usage of electricity. The solar plate is used to provide a source for battery charging. The wheels and the grass cutter are done using DC motors. The charger circuit is used to provide the charging for the battery.

Nowadays grass cutter machines are becoming very popular today. Pollution is manmade, which we can be seen in our daily life. In the old model of grasscutter, IC engine was used and hence because of its environmental impact pollution level rises IC engine driven cutter is more costly. Maintenance of such a conventional machine is more. The aim of our project is to make the grass cutter that operates on solar energy hence saving electricity and reducing manpower. In our project, we use a microcontroller for controlling various operations of the grass cutter. Also, the grass cutter has an obstacle sensor for obstacle detection. Grasscutter operates automatically hence it does not require a skilled person to operate
