Description
This project involves the design and construction of street light control and monitoring system using Internet of Things (IoT). This includes the use of a PIC Microcontroller 16F77A, ESP 32 Wi-Fi module, Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) Infrared sensors, .cloud platform and a mobile application. This project is a complete demonstration of how street lights can be built in the modern world where there is access to the internet. This can be remotely monitored and controlled, and with features the detect night and day to automatically switch ON and OFF respectively. The result of the project shows that using Internet of Things on street lights is the modern way of energy savings, monitoring and control.
